With its central location, Hotel Cortese Sanremo provides easy access to the fantastic shops, bars, and restaurants in the area. The staff is helpful, providing excellent service and useful information to make your stay enjoyable. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with attention to detail such as an excellent shower and a balcony for some rooms. The breakfast is top-notch, offering a delicious spread even without hot food. From the reviews, it is clear that the owners and staff go above and beyond to ensure guests have a pleasant and memorable stay.
We had a very good stay at this hotel, and there was nothing that we believe could be improved.

Our room was a little chilly and we couldn't find the thermostat.

Staff were very helpful. Nice ambience in public areas. Location very good.
The room was sold as a triple room for three adults. The third adult had to sleep in the bottom of a bunk bed, with the upper bed folded up. This meant there was always a risk of banging her head if she got up quickly. The room was really too small to be described as spacious (as it had been). Also there were a number of TV channels but none in English. Shower had very poor water pressure.

The hotel was located in the center of the city, making it easy to get around. The breakfast offered a variety of options and was included in our stay. The staff was friendly and accommodating.
The room itself was quite small and outdated. The noise from the street made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

Not many positives to report unfortunately apart from the location which is very central.
The room was small and musty smelling. We had requested a double bed but what we recevied was two single mattresses pushed together. My mattress was so uncomfortable I could feel the springs pushing up through the mattress into my back as I slept. I was crippled the following day and was contemplating booking into another hotel because it was that bad. Also the bathroom towels are made of some kind of snythetic cardboard type material and can hardly be described as towels. Also, the flat screen tv is about the size of a laptop screen. Also the walls are paper thin, so that when the couple next door decide to get up at 7am and put on the television full blast - they might as well be staying in the room with you it's that loud. To be honest I'm not that fussy a person but at €234 for 2 nights stay in this hotel - this is terrible value for money. Stars out of 5!

The room was very comfortable and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel also provided free entry to a great private beach nearby.
Nothing that we didn't like - we would certainly stay there again.

We loved this hotel's central location. It was right in the heart of the city, making it easy for us to explore and visit popular attractions. The hotel facilities were impressive, with spacious and comfortable rooms equipped with efficient air conditioning. In addition, the hotel staff was super friendly, warm, and welcoming. We were greeted with a beautiful bouquet of roses in our room, which made our stay even more special. Lastly, the breakfast was excellent, with various options such as fresh fruits, cold cuts, cheese, and gluten-free bread.
Nothing bad to say.

the location is great as it is near the bus and train stations, making it easy to get around and explore. the hotel has an old yet charming elevator that adds to the atmosphere and also saves you from climbing stairs.
The hotel lacked soundproofing and I could easily hear conversations and movements from the neighboring rooms and hallway. the bathroom was also quite cramped and barely had any space for toiletries.

This hotel was perfect for our three days in a bustling town with a central location, right in the midst of all of the excitement. With it being right in the heart of the city center and in walking distance to all main attractions and the port, we couldn't ask for better. the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the bathrooms were top-notch, newly renovated. Every morning, we were delighted with a delicious breakfast to start our day. Not to mention, the staff was friendly and attentive to our every need. This was a great spot for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
There was one aspect that didn't meet our expectations, as it could have disrupted our rest.
